Q&A with Allison Nagle

Bio
Allison Nagle is a junior at Stonehill College. A Mansfield native and a 2009 graduate of Mansfield High School, Nagle played soccer and basketball for the Hornets. Nagle had multiple awards during her soccer career at Mansfield High School. Nagle was named a Hockomock All-Star in her sophomore, junior and senior years and league MVP honors as a senior. In 2008, Nagle was named Boston Herald and Brockton Enterprise All-Star. In 2007 and 2008, Nagle was selected as Eastern Massachusetts All Star and All-State in 2008. Nagle was also a four-year Sun Chronicle All-Star and named the Sun Chronicle All-Star Game MVP. Nagle also lettered in basketball, earning all-league defensive team honors during her senior year.
What sport(s) are you playing at Stonehill? Favorite moment playing sports at Stonehill?
“I am playing soccer at Stonehill College.”
“My favorite moment playing sports at Stonehill was beating UMASS Lowell my sophomore year. UMASS Lowell had knocked us out of the Northeast-10 tournament my freshman year and we wanted to come back strong the following season. We ended up winning the game 1-0 so it was really exciting.”
What is your favorite high school sports memory?
“My favorite high school sports memory was when we beat Oliver Ames my senior year.”
Who is your favorite athlete and why?
“My favorite athlete is Wes Welker because he is a hard worker.”
Favorite group or singer
“I don’t have one favorite group or singer, I just like a lot of different country music.”
Favorite movie
“Good Will Hunting.”
Favorite TV show
“Grey’s Anatomy.”
Favorite pizza place
“The Town Spa.”
